Terrorist underwent training in hacking and broke Wifi–network : Indian Police

Indian Mujahideen a terrorist organization based in South Asia underwent training in cyber hacking techniques to break wifi network. They also purchased equipments such as spy camera and radio frequency signal detectors from USA.

Software engineer Peerbhoy lead the “media cell” with others with good computer skills. They hacked into unsecured wifi network in and around Mumbai, India and sent emails to media after the series of bomb attack that hit major Indian cities in 2008. Indian police on its charge sheet says Mansoor Peerbhoy took special training in hacking from an expert back in May 2007.  IP addresses from where the emails were sent were later traced back to a college in Mumbai with unsecured wifi access points.
